Hey guys, just an update on the collab. The ball is rolling, an so far, everything is running quite smoothly. There's one problem though, and that is we don't have enough people, we still have plenty of chapter spots. HELLO, and welcome to the Half-Life animation Collab! This is the very first collab that I have ever hosted, and hopefully it won't be the last. This collab will be focused around the animator's portrayal of famous scenes from all 19 chapters from the first Half-Life game.

RULES

1. NEEDS TO BE ANIMATED, no animatics, no sliding pictures, none of that. I'm totally fine with having different styles of animation, as long as there's clear movement.
2. The Animations should (for the most part.) stick with Gordon's perspective.
3. No excessive gore, or pornographic content. while I would like for the collab to be open for more mature content , I don't want straight up porn, or anything that would turn the M to an A.
4. Animations can be around 30 secs, up to 2 mins. (If you really want to challenge yourself.)

I want your Newgrounds link, and link me some of your best work for review, I'm not going to be picky, I just want an idea of your work.

Due Date, and Checkup dates

The Due- Date for the collab is on November the 8th, if you need anymore time on your submission, don't be afraid to DM me.

The checkup dates will be at the end of each month. (the 29th) until November. I will give you 10 days to respond over Discord or NG. if you fail to respond, then you're out of the collab, and someone else will take your place.

Hello everyone, I have two things that I would like to talk about.

First off, I'm working on an animation for, @Hidden-Maverick. So far, progress is somewhat slow, but I'm trying stay consistent with how much I work. Sometimes I get tired of sitting at my computer for most of the day...

I have no clue how long it will take to finish, so stay tuned.

In other news, I'm going to start a collab!

Hey guys, I want to ask y'all something. What can I improve on in my art and animation. I really want to know. I sorta have an idea of things that I want to work on, but I also what to know what you guys think. :)

Hey guys, I want to talk about something that's been bothering me regarding me as an animator.

I keep having these insecurities that I'm never going to get better, and I'm won't if I don't keep practicing.

Problem is, I'm almost never in the mood to animate, worse is that I feel scared to animate. I'm scared of messing up my animations, thinking that they need to be perfect, even though it may be just for practice. I'm always teetering between wanting to take my time, but I end up rushing, because of wanting to get it out there. I WANT to take my time, but it's always my own impatience that screws me over. I compare myself to others a lot, it feels like I'll never be as good as the people that I look up to, or that I'll never have as many fans, or animations under my belt.

At the end of the day, I still love doing, and am passionate about animation. But all of these insecurities are what hold me down, and what keep me from fully enjoying what I love

Hey guys, Sorry about being silent lately, not much has been going on, but here’s an update, because I hate keeping you guys in the dark.

First off, I am not going to start any summer animation projects, this year. I’m tired of stressing myself out with big projects. I will keep creating, and uploading completed drawings every once and awhile.

for this summer, I’m going to be focusing more on improving my anatomy, by practicing figure drawing, and I want to practice animating again, and I especially want to practice with consistent animation.

I don’t really have anything else to talk about. I would like to start a big project maybe next year, but for now, stay tuned for more content. :)

I’m currently working on a Pico Day animation, it’s pretty short, of course, but I really wanted to make an animation, instead of an art-piece because, I miss seeing all of the Pico Day animations that people would make. I can’t wait to get this out on the 9th!
